Adult Sunday School Classes

Christ In Culture (9 a.m.)

The Christ in Culture class is small discussion group that takes a look at Christian responses to issues in contemporary culture. It meets in the Youth Multipurpose Building behind the church (center exterior door).

Serendipity Class (8:45 a.m.)

This group studies scripture and other books and is facilitated by Jan Flowers Murray. It meets in the family room at the main entrance to the church sanctuary.

Contemplative Prayer & Christian Meditation (8:30 a.m.)

This prayer and meditation group is led by David Morgan, who participated in The Center for Action and Contemplation's courses to learn practices taught by faculty member James Finely (a student of Thomas Merton and colleague of Richard Rohr). It meets in the east room (closest to the church) of the Youth Multipurpose Building.

James Club (9 a.m.)

The James Club is a non-denominational Christian fellowship of persons in recovery from addiction, as well as their families, friends and other interested people. The group meets in the James Club Annex in the house next door to the church.  It provides support and growth opportunities consistent with Christian teachings and 12-step based programs of recovery. Using the Life Recovery Bible, the group's studies relate the Twelve Steps of Recovery to their Biblical foundations. The James Club encourages members to be actively involved in AA or other programs of recovery.
