Adult Education

Sunday mornings and weekday evenings at Wells offer several choices for growth in your relationship to God and in your relationship to your fellow believers.

Sunday School--9:45 until 10:40 am
Seekers Class--This Bible study class offers an intensive look at the Scriptures under the leadership of Bettye Quinn.  Bettye provides insights into the historical setting of Bible texts as well as illumination of the message.
Serendipity Class--Also known as "Keith's Class," this group is led by our pastor, Keith Tonkel. 
James Club--This class offers a Chritian fellowship for persons in recovery,their families, friends and other interested people.  Using the Life Recovery Bible, the group's studies relate the Twelve Steps of Recovery to their Biblical foundations.
Christ In Culture--This small discussion class takes a look at Christian responses to issues in contemporary culture. 

Wednesday Bible Study--7 pm
    Offered as a part of the regular Mid-week Worship, which also includes a time of intercessory prayer,  this discussion class alternates between looking at books of the Bible and doing time-limited study workbooks on specific themes.

 Disciple Bible Study
    These courses, which run 30 weeks or more, offer unique opportunities to expand your knowledge and understanidng of the Bible.  Classes begin each fall and run concurrently with the city's public school schedule.  
   
The original course, the 34-week "Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study" is a prerequisite to all other studies in the series.

 Spanish Classes
    Elementary Spanish is offered for adults on Thursday evenings.
